On July 31st we brought our donation to a very grateful Mothers Trust Foundation of Lake County.
They serve children and families with children in difficult situations. At a meeting each week, requests are reviewed and money goes out. Of the children served, 27% live in households reporting $0 income. 14% are homeless, 19% are households affected by a disability. They provide hope for breaking the cycle of poverty. It was great to see the process firsthand.
